The honoree, her mother, Mrs,
R. L Jones, Jr., and Mrs. W. I.
Billings of Midland, wore white
carnation corsages. Mrs. Davis ;
registered guests.
Gifts were displayed in an ad-
joining bedroom and kitchen of
the home.
The table was spread with a j
white damask cloth and decorat- j
cd with an off-center arrangement
of white .daisies and greenery in-
terspersed with tiny turqouise bags
of rice. Napkins were inscribed in
silver, "Mary and Walter." Tur-
quoise colored punch was served
with round cakes decorated with
turquoise roses. An arrangement
of cakes on a crystal tray spelled
out the honored couple's names.
Mrs. Hill presided at the punch
bowl while Mrs. Huggins served
cake.

chapter, of Beta Sigma Phi was
held Monday, June 29, in the Sem-

Convention held recently in Hous-

Fresh strawberry slices are folded into the topping, and garnish

1 package lemon angel food cake mix __
Filling and Topping;
2 cups (one-half package)
buttercroam lemon frosting mis )
1 cup whipping cream
cup sour cream
2 cups fresh strawberry slices
Prepare and hake cake as directed on package. Coot: remove
front pan. With long-bladed knife, split cake into 3 layers*
Blend dry frosting mix, whipping cream and sour cream. Beat
until thickened. Fold in strawberry slices; Fill and top cake
layers with creamy filling. Garnish "with strawberry slices. Chill
until served.
