have made at Amarillo and nt
other places where thoy have
shown A number of beef cattle

sent to the Fair but the Herald
has not been able to get in touch
with all those putting their stock
on exhibit however we will hear
about more of them after they
up there for there is plenty
of stock in Uie Tulia territory
that will prove fast company in
any show ring

been conducting these trips all
summir many have attended even
trip others have made part
of them and some have not gone
at all These trips are one of the
best things any community can
do We should all turn out whenever
it is at all possible We
have some mighty good neighboring
communities made up of the
best type of citizens and they are
wholly deserving of our friend
liness and fellowship Tulia is
very proud of the good communi
ties in her territory and it is our
solomn duty to visit them We
show them all how much we ap

Many estimated a thousand people
attended the Old Settlers Reunion
at Wayside last Friday
and others have said that thy
have never tasted better barbecue
than was had on this occasion
Baibeeue pickles bread coffee
pie and cake was more than
plentiful and everybody reported
a rollicking good time in general
Seventyfive or a hundred people
from Tulia attended and were
accompanied by the High School
baud and Ukulele girls providing
the music The plans had been
made to make a booster trip the
game evening leaving Tulia at
seven oclock but later It wis
learned that tho Reunion and barbecue
was being staged on that
date and the good people of
Wayside sent aii invitation for all
to attend the noon feed and enjoy
their hospitality and festivities

work by a few good citizens a
part of the band was gotten to
gether in an hour or so and a long
line of ears were lined up in front
of the court square with a large
delegation who weie off for the
