the 4H clubs for Saturday Oct
11 at 230 p m
The chairman of the 4H Club
sponsors committee Mrs Preston
Mitchell announced a meeting of
the presidents and secretaries of
the 4H clubs for Saturday Oct
4 at 230 p m in the office for
the purpose of planning the yearbooks
for 1942 She nlso announced
that the Gold Star Girl would
be selected this week by a committee
made up of the Chairman
of the EducationExpansion Committee
of the Council with two
4H club girls appointed by the
chairman of the council In order
to qualify for the Gold Stnr
Award the club girl must have
completed three years of work
carrying on credible demonstrationsIt was decided at the council
meeting that the Achievement
Programs in November would be
held by precincts again this year
as last The EducationExpansion
Committee of the council with
the individual committees of the
home demonstration clubs are to
plan the route and program for
the day at a meeting Saturday
