WEDNESDAY CLUB
The Wednesday Club met at the
home of Mrs. Mary Bell this week.
A short business session was held
with our president Mrs. Nell Kim-
ball presiding. All repeated the Club
Collect and Mrs. Mabel Haynes,
the secretary read the minutes of
the previous meeting. Mrs. Edna
Sisson chairman of the May social
announced it would be held at Mrs.
Dolly Scott's home on Wednesday,
May 18.
The program was on "Neighbors"
and good papers were given by
Mrs. Ruth Boiling and Mrs. Mabel
Haynes. Mrs. Haynes' subject was
''Our Neighbors of the North" and
Mrs. Boiling had "Texas Indians"
these women told in a most in-
teresting way the occupations, art
and' culture of early Americans.
Thirteen members answered roll
call by telling an Unusual Neigh-
borly Deed. We had two visitors
Mrs. Roy Bel! of Houston and Miss
Elizbaeth Gilbert of Kerrville.—Re-
porter.

>KING FOR MORE VALUE from your motor car
dollars? Then, look no more. Ford brings you a wealth
of fine-car features that even some of the higher-priced
cars can't match. " '
For example, the chart above shows that in feature
after feature Ford gives you everything you have come
to expect in a mediuna-priced car . . . and more. Vet,
a Ford Fairlane Town Sedan costs'" you less than the
lowest-priced comparably equipped 4-door sedan of
four popular medium-priced makes.
And, with Ford recognized as the style leader . . .
"at home" wherever you may go . . . why pay more?
Feature for feature . . , price for price . . . you aan't
buy better than Ford.
