Houston Oilers Take
On Denver Broncos At
Rice Stadium Sunday
HOUSTON—Handed a crippling
33-21 defeat last Sunday, the Hous-
ton Oilers must now ready them-
selves for the ever-dangerous Den-
ver Broncos Sunday at Rice Sta-
dium.
Although the Oilers are not out
of the Eastern Division race, last
Sunday's loss to Oakland didri t
leave Houston's chances of over-
taking league-leading Buffalo too
good. Buffalo leads the East with
a 7-2 record while the Oilers are
all even at 4-4.
Coach Mac Speedie's Broncos,
who defeated the Oilers earlier in
Denver, 28-17, fell to San Diego,
35-21 last Sunday and would like
nothing better than to get back on
the winning trail at Houston's ex-
pense.
Sunday's game will be last of the
Oilers' present two-game home
stand. The Oilers will take to the
road to battle Kansas City and
New York before returning home
for the final two Rice Stadium
showings of the year on Dec. 5 and
12 against Buffalo and San Diego.
