A Woman
Beqause tbey are thinner now
than they used to be.
Because they are easy to read.
Because they have bold faced
types.
Because they are well worth
looking over.
Because back numbers are net
much in demand.
Because tbe.v are not afraid to
speak their minds.
Because they have a great deal
of influence.
Because if they know anything
they usually tell it.
Because every man "should have
one of his own and not chase
after his neighboi's.

Advice From A Man
Worth Many Millions
Here^is what Peter Cooper,
who died worth many millions,
said about newspapers: "In a
town where a newspaper is'pub-
lished, every man should ad-
vertise, if nothing more than &
card stating his name and busi-
ness. It pays not only the adver-
tiser, but lets the people at a dis-
tance know the town in which
you live is a prosperous commu-
nity of business men. As the
seed is sown, so the harvest re-
compenses. Never pull down
your sign while yon expect to do
business."
