FROM BLUEBONNET LODGE
Several weeks ago, Mrs. Ar-

from the Baptist Church to
sing. While die conducted the
remainder of the program. It
was a real treat to have these
ladles sing. When they were
through they retired to chairs

Just then an elderly lady
totally deaf> came in and no
doubt thought it was supper
time, said in a loud voice, "Get

When an American visiting
a small English town lost a val-
uable dog. he asked to have a
notice printed in the local ev-
ening paper offering 100 pounds
sterling for its return. Evening
came, but no paper appeared.
The American waited for some
time. Then he went to the news-
paper office. There he found
no one but the nightwatchman.
"Isn't the newspaper coming
out?" he asked.
"I doubt it. sir," the watch-
man said. "The whole staff is
out hunting for a lost dog."
