Abont a Creamery.
W. E. Kirk, who recently came
here from Amarillo, says they
started their creamery in a small
way and built it up as the de-
mand justified. One man at first
did nearly all the work and sav-
ed labor. The man who started
that creamery would come here
at once if he were not already
tied up. Mr. Kirk is enthusias-
tic on the subject of a creamery
and says he is ready at any time
to help get one for Seymour.
And a creamery we must have.

f Blount Guard*.
R. Q. Bennett is in receipt of
a copy of the Memphis Commer-
cial Appeal in which a photo-
graph is reproduced of the flag
used by the Blount Guards. This
flag was made by a sister of
Capt. C. G. Blount and present-
ed to the company. At the sur-
render of Fort Donelson the flag
was taken by a federal officer.
Capt. Blount is dead, but his
brother was recently presented
with the flag by the wife of the'
man who captured it. These
facts are given because quite a
number of our people were ac-
quainted with Capt. Blount.
