as far as Fort Worth Sunday with
Maurice O'Neal, where she will go
to Afton, to visit hr brother and
on to Johnson county to vcc her
mother,
Mrs. Ruth Brewer is visiting her
daughter. Mrs. Robert Morrison
and family of Wichita Falls.
Rev. and Mrs. Keith Parks spent

Frederick, Oklahoma, where her

the Baptist church Wednesday
night with morning services begin-
ning at 7:00 a.m. and evening serv-
ices at 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Katie Powell of Lubbock
Is visiting her son, Whit, and fam-
ily.
It is with regret we report the
Illness of Grandpa Youngblood at
the Seynfour Hcvpital, several of
his irelativcs arc hero this week
visiting him.
If "April showers brings May
flowers," all the farmers in this
community have flower faces. As
you can see their smiles a long
distance away, since the rain.
Mr. and Mrs. John Kisinger of
Graham spent Tuesday visiting his
brother Carl and wife.

recent visitors with their parents,

tended the funeral of his sister-in-
law in Sulphur, Okla., Saturday.
Mr. and Mirs. Raymond CoKvell
of Wichita Fnlls spent Sunday in
the home of Mr. and Mt'j. Jimmie
Elliott.
Mr. and Mrs. A. H. (Shortie)
Thomas went to Odessa over the
week-end after her mother, Mr.
Sweden, who is suffering from a
stroke of several months ago, but
s able to set up now in her chair a
few hours each day.
Lt. Douglas Cunningham of De
Ridder, La., spent the week-end
with his parents, Air. and Mrs. J.
D. Cunningham. Douglas will be
transferred to Ft. Riley, Kansas,
in the near future.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Reeves and
family spent Sunday visiting his
nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Weldon
Mansfield of Estaline.

The Ladles Auxiliaries to the
Veterans of Foreign Wars, Eldred
J. Andruss Post No. 7871, met in
regular meeting April 12, at 8:00
m., at the Veterans Memorial
ome, with 14 members present.
Four new members were voted In.
During the business meeting, It
was decided to have a bake sale at
tt:00 a.m. Saturday. April 17, at
Hall Bros. Grocery,
After a delicious refreshment
plate, during which members en-
joyed a social hour, the meeting
was adjourned, until the next
meeting, April 26.
Mrs. Beulah Beaver and a friend,
Mra. Metts of Burkburnett, visited
with Mrs. J. W. Beavers over the
week-end. They also visited in the
J. B. Brother's home.
