Donovan, one time major league star, to
act as coach of the Cubs' pitching staff.
Donovan, who succeeds Otto Knabe, will
leove with the manager of the Cubs for
Chicago tonight. The new coach Is a smart I
baseball man and should prove to be a
valuable assistant to Mitchell,
Donovan was one lime a member of the
