MONTAGUE — Funeral
services for Libby Fenoglio
Webb, 56, were held at
10:30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 18,
2010, at Saint William
Catholic Church in
Montague with Father
Richard Collins officiating.
Burial followed at Montague
Catholic Cemetery under the
direction of Scott-Morris
Funeral Home.
Libby was born March
13, 1953, in Nocona the
daughter of the late Melvin
and Helen Wilfong
Fenoglio. She married Cecil
Webb and died Jan. 16 in
Nocona.
Libby was a member of
the St. William Catholic
Church, She was on the
Board of the Midwestern
University Alumni Assoc.
Libby was a teacher and a
principal for the Wichita
Falls Independent School
District, for 29 years.
Libby was preceded in
death by her parents, Melvin
& Helen Fenoglio, her moth-
er-in-law Betty B. Norris,
and her loving dog Lizzy
Lou.
Honorary Pallbearers
were the Nocona High
School Class of 71, and
WFISD
Memorials in lieu of
flowers can be made to
Solaris Hospice in her mem-
ory
Survivors include: her
husband Cecil Webb of

Louise Reed, 91, of Nocona,
were held at 2 p.m. Monday,
Jan. 18, 2010, at the First
United Methodist Church of
Nocona. Officiating was
minister Jerry Jones.
Interment followed at
Nocona Cemetery under the
direction of Jerry Woods
Funeral Home.
Doris was born Sept. 15,
1918, in Vernon the daugh-
ter of the late Jefferson and
Hattie Henrietta (Elliot)
Jones. She married Dave
Reed on Feb. 13, 1936, in
Davidson, Okla. He preced-
ed her in death on Oct. 28,
2001. She passed away Jan.
14 in Nocona.
Doris was a homemaker,
a member of the First United
Methodist Church and a
charter member of the
Nocona Hospital Auxiliary.
She was preceded in
death by her parents, three
sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include: her
son, Jerry reed of Lewisville;
daughters Patricia Reed Roy
of Irving, Nancy reed
Cunningham and husband
Jack of Nocona, and Mary
Ray Reed Vaughn of
Houston; nine grandchil-
dren, 19 great-grandchildren
and one great-great-
grandchild.
Pallbearers were:
Brannen Reed, Dannen
Reed, Dave Brently Vaughn,
Patrick Gilliam, Ryan
O'Callagan, and Cory Paul.

Services for Bertha Mae
Blakley Mitchell, 99, of
Saint Jo, were held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2010,
at the Saint Jo Church of
Christ with C.E. Cole offici-
ating. Burial followed in
Coker Cemetery (near
Bulcher). Services were
directed by McCoy Funeral
Home of Saint Jo. Bertha
died at 2 a.m., Sunday, Jan.
17, in the North Texas
Medical Center in
Gainesville.
Born May 28, 1910, in
the country in Montague
County, one of the 10 chil-
dren of James Edward and
Amanda Blakley, Bertha
grew up in Cooke County
near the Bulcher Community
and attended school at Tyler
Bluff.
The family moved to
Montague County.
She married Floyd
Mitchell on Nov, 28, 1929,
in Oklahoma. They lived in
and farmed in the Spencer
area until 1938 when they
moved to the Capps Corner
area. There, Floyd became
an oil field pumper and
Bertha, a homemaker and
loving mother.
They were the parents of
a daughter and two sons. She
then worked at the sewing
factory in Saint Jo from 1971
until they closed in 1986.
She and Floyd moved to
Saint Jo in 1979 where they
lived until his death shortly
thereafter. Bertha continued

moved in to live with her
daughter in Muenster, then,
in 2003 was admitted to
River Valley Nursing Home
in Gainesville, where she
remained until her death.
Bertha loved her family
and friends, and enjoyed gar-
dening, crossword puzzles,
sewing and crocheting. She
will be greatly missed.
Survivors include: her
daughter, Odessa Hacker of
Muenster; son Jack Mitchell
of Kilgore; nine grandchil-
dren, Donald, Basil and
LaDonna Hacker, Tressie
Lewis, Scott, Eric and
Nathan Mitchell, Diafletta
Norseworthy and Cecilia
McCuistion ; 16 great-
grandchildren: Brandi
Griffen, Jennifer Hogan,
Joshua, Marc, Anthony,
Suri, Mandy, B.J. Jamie and
Tiffany Hacker, Sonya
Coulston, Kamron Lewis,
Stephany Norseworthy,
Maci Mitchell, J.D. And
Chris McCuistion;and 6
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in
death by: her husband, Floyd
Mitchell; son, Daile
Mitchell; granddaughter,
Melissa Norseworthy; sis-
ters, Mattie Pittman,
Beaulah Goff and Minnie
Cannon; brothers, Charlie
Blakley, Jack Blakley, Bill
Blakley, Floyd Blakley,
Gilbert Blakley and William
Blakley.
Pallbearers were: Jimmy
Blakley, Gary Blakley,
Michael Goff, Eric
Coulston, Nathan Mitchell,
and J.D. McCuistion.
79, passed away Friday, Jan.
8, 2010, at home with loved
ones.
A memorial service will
be held at the Church of
Christ in Glenwood Springs,
Colo, on Friday, Jan. 29 at
11 a.m.
She was born to Rosa
Farquhar Henry and Herbon
King Redman on Dec. 24,
1930, in Saint Jo. Her child-
hood was spent in Nocona.
Doris attended Abilene
Christian College and
resided much of her life in
Shadyside, Ohio, and
Wichita Falls. She retired as
a Librarian from Barwise
Junior High School.
Doris is survived by son
Robert Bond and wife
Karen, daughter Dana Scott
and husband Randy; three
grandchildren: Kait and
Rory Mackey and Travis
Allen; sister Charlotte Wood
of Wichita Falls and nieces:
Sherry Snelling, Susan Jo
Banks and Cindy Browning.
She lived the last years of
her life in her son's home, at
194 Apple Drive, New
Castle, CO 81647.

Born April 17, 1918, in
Denton, one of the three
children of the late Francis
Marion and Gladys Parkes
Craddock, Lutie was raised
in Denton and attended ele-
mentary and high school
there. She then attended
Texas Woman's University
where she earned her teach-
ing degree in Home
Economics.
Her parents owned and
operated a business and
other properties in Denton
Lutie met her future hus-
band, James Clark Embry,
while he was seeking a
degree from North Texas
State Teachers College.
After marriage, Jim found
work in Fort Worth for a
brief period. They then
moved to an oil lease north
of Muenster where he
worked pumping two leases
during World War II. From
there, they moved to Saint
Jo, back to Muenster, to
Forestburg and back to Saint
Jo.
Lutie had taught school at
several different places
before retiring and perma-
nently living in Saint Jo until
suffering a stroke in 1998.
She then moved to the Fort
Worth area to be near her
son, Bob. She later was
admitted to a nursing home
where she remained until her
death.
Lutie was a person that
enjoyed life, her family and
many friends. She was a
member of St. Matthews
Cumberland Presbyterian
Church.
Lutie enjoyed her life as
wife and mother. She was a
great seamstress, making
shirts, especially western,
for the boys. She was an avid
reader and a very pleasant
lady and will be greatly
missed by her family and
friends.
Survivors include: sons
James Richard (Dick)
Embry and wife Dianna of
Harlem, Ga., Robert Clark
(Bob) Embry and wife Carol
of Burleson; eight
Grandchildren, and 27 Great
Grandchildren
She was preceded in
death by: her husband:
James Clark Embry; her par-
ents: Francis Marion Jr. and
Gladys Parkes Craddock; a
sister: Dorothy Jean
McClanahan; and a brother:
Francis Keith Craddock
Pallbearers will be: James
