Pets of the Week
P ; Pretty Rene is the last of five siblings
rescued from a kill shelter. She is sweet, playful and will
put a smile on your face whether she is playing or
snuggling. She is waiting for just the right human to
come along. Is that you?
SASHA Saved by her foster family when they found
,^ 4 her running loose around their apartment
complex, sweet Sasha is a friendly, playful, highly energetic nine
month old girl looking to find a loving home and her foster family is
making every effort to give her a chance to do just that. Her foster
mom has taught Sasha the basic commands (Sit, Down, Stay etc...),
has taught her to shake on command and they are working on her house training and other good
doggie house manners. Since Sasha is highly energetic, she needs a home where she will receive
lots of encouragement and love. She needs plenty of exercise and play time so a fenced yard
would be perfect - she needs someone willing to continue with her obedience training and if
taught all the things necessary for her to become a loving companion, we are sure special Sasha
will be just the perfect fun girl for some lucky family.

SHADOW
Hi folks, meet Shadow, a lovely I-year-old, 48 pound, male, Labrador/Chow Chow
mix, with an absolutely gorgeous espresso-colored coat. Shadow is a social butterfly
with a tremendous smile and has a great big kiss ready for each and every person he
meets. In fact, one of his favorite ways to greet people is to nuzzle his face against
their neck and smack a warm kiss right on their chin or cheek. Doesn't that sound delightful? Once he has given
you that proper, loving "hello," Shadow would love to go on a walk. He is very polite on the leash and responds
well to correction if he gets a little too excited about going to the dog park. Once he is off leash, Shadow enjoys
skipping and prancing about. Shadow is a great family pet and would love to have a kiddo playmate to spend his
days with! However, Shadow would prefer to be the only dog in the household. This sweet boy is actually deaf and
would prefer not to have to share your love and attention. Living with a deaf pup is no different than living with
any other pup! Shadow still has four legs with which to jog by your side, a wagging tail to let you know he's
happy, and a wet nose and warm tongue to shower you with kisses! With love and dedication, you and Shadow
will learn to use sign language, movement, and even vibration to communicate with one another. Shadow was
surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on February 19 because his previous owners could not get up with his jubilant
personality. Shadow is a fun-loving guy who enjoys a good time. So what are you waiting for? Come meet Shadow
today! #103424
