Campbell in Madison.
MA'DISONVILLE, Tex., July 28.—In
the precinct convention this afternoon
the Campbell forces sent a solid delega-
tion to the county convention. Two of
the Colquitt supporters bolted. The con-
vention was short, but exceedingly live-
ly while it lasted. The Mecca and Mid-
way precincts also sent solid Campbell
delegations and the Zulch precinct was
mixed between the four candidates, but
with Campbell in the majority.

of the city and elected an even number
of delegates each to the county conven-
tion. The Campbell and Colquitt forces

bell delegation will probably be sent to
the State convention, with Bell for sec-
ond choice.
