C. H. Felton, who is absent from the State
of Texas, by making publication of this
citation in some newspaper published in
Dallas Couuty, for four successive weeks,
to be and appear before the Honorable
Circuit Court of the United States, at the
next regular Term thereof, to be holden
for the Fifth Judicial Circuit and North"
em District of Texas, at the Court room
thereof, in the City of Dallas, on the first
Monday, it being the 5th dav of June next,
to answer the Petition in Case Fo. 243,
filed on the 2d day of February, 1882, of
Edwin Bates At Company, a firm composed
of Edwin Bates, Chas. Bates and Thomas
R. McGahan, Plaintiffs, against C. H. Fel*
ton, Defendant.
The nature of the Plaintifl's demand is
as follows, to-wit: Suit on Note for $1664,
dated of July, 1881, maturing 1st day
of January, 1882, and drawing interest at
8 per cent, per annum,
Herein fail not, and due return ot this
W'lit make, on or before the 5th day of
June next, showing how you have execut-
ed the same.

ton, and the sub-pofts of Camp Del Rio,
Pena Colorado and Camp near Presidio,
Texas, of such quantities of Fresh Beef

Subsistence Department at these posts and

1883, or such less time as the Commissary
General of Subsistence may direct.
