SEC. 2. Be it flrothelr enacted, That the Chief Justice of
the county of Gonzales, immediately after the passage
of the act, shall be authorised and re(luired to issue writs
of an election to fill the offices of the above recited act
for the fraction of the present year.

shall affect any rights of location made in conlfrmity
to the acts defining the boundaries of Gonzales and( Fayette.
