64 Abilene Christian College Graduate School
64G3. Socio-Economic Information in Guidance. This course is designed to
acquaint the prospective counselor with the essential nature of environmental
information as well as its acquisition, evaluation, filing
and use.
65G2. Seminar in Guidance. A course designed to fulfill the following: (1)
determine the competency of the student as a school counselor, (2)
strengthen any phase of the program in which he might be deficient,
and (3) serve to bring problems and cases encountered in the
practicum into a classroom situation for group discussion. The course
must be taken concurrently with the practicum (Ed. 66G4).
66G4. Practicum in Guidance. In this course the student will perform actual
guidance duities under the supervision of a cooperating agency
and the course instructor. This course should be taken concurrently
with Ed. 65G2: Seminary in Guidance. (Note: 50 clock hours on the
job shall constitute one semester hour.
15G6. Thesis for the Master's Degree. All graduate students with a major
in Education who plan to write a thesis to fulfill requirements
of the Master of Science degree must register for 15G6.
