the student to social interaction in group life; determination of
group problems; and the discovery of methods for enriching and
improving group life.
Students who wish to function as professional social workers
should plan to study in an accredited graduate school of social
work. The pre-professional curriculum outlined below is based upon
recent recommendations of the Council for Social Work Education,
Inc. It is intended to introduce the student to concepts and
orientations which will augment their graduate study.84
