was truly representative of the Methodist
Episcopal church of Texas. Bishop W. W.
Duncan made a mark6d impression n?oB
ike delegates, and upon all who attended
the daily sessions o£ the conference, by his
dignity, amiability, learning and powers as
a presiding officer. He is evidently a man
oi fine intellect and magnetic Influence in
directing the vast religious affairs taat are
in his care.
