Eighteen Buslu'ls Sold.
Eighteen bushels of Lone Star seed
cotton were sold yesterday by the Tem-
ple Chamber of Commerce at
a bushel or less than the cost price.
The organization paid $3 a bushel for
seed in order to have it here for the
farmers but had too much so la
forced to sell it at less than cost.

Mrs. I). VV. (iougli has received
word from her husband, Dr. II. W.
Cough, of the American Expedition-
ary Forces in France, that he had en-
tered Toulouse university, France and
would not return to America until
July. Dr. Cough was formerly of Kil-
leen but at the time of his enlistment
was a member of the staff of a local
surgical institution. Ills wife and little
son, Homer, are living with Mrs. L.
C. C.ough of this city.
