The Lerdoists who have been
in peaceable possession of Paso
del Norte, Mexico, were attack
ed by an armed band of 250
Mexican revolutionists. The
Lerdo party were routed and a
number killed on both sides:
They fled to El Paso, for protec-
tion by the U. S. troops. The
victors took possession of Paso
del Norte. ^
