A Difference.— On Mon-
day morning a Banner repor-

a fine lot of side meat at one of
our stores. Upon inquiry it
was learned that this farmer
has been in the habit of selling
bacon every year. There is a
great difference between buying
and selling bacon. It is more
perceptable in a farmers pocket-
book than elsewhere.

Banner, on Sunday last, took
a ride out in the country as far
as Hoffman's mill. Corn on an
average is nearly knee high, cot-

around the old cemetry has
been thoroughly repaired and
a good gate put np at the road.
The bridge a short distance this
side is completely broken down
and immpassable for a loaded

seen several sinners fishing on
the creeks, but as they were
not catching any fish he pre-
