Sandra is a Senior at Cedar
Hill High School. She has par-
ticipated in basketball through-
out high school and is presently
playing a forward position for the
Scarlets. She loves playing hoc-
key and is naturally quite active
at the roller rink. Sandra was
employed at a local nursery un-
til basketball season opened. She
is also a member of the First
Baptist Church.
The Deuback* s are owners of
the Cedar Hill Roller Rink and
are considered one of the out-
standing families of our com-
munity.

pleted a five-day water
technology course at
Texas A&M University.
Moore is a water
quality engineer in Ce-
dar Hill.
Directed by Leon
Holbert, chief of water
utilities training in
TAMU's Engineering
Extension Service, the
course offered training
in well production,
surface production,
chlorination, coagula-
tion, sedimentation,
distribution systems
and other areas of wa-
ter quality operation.
The majority of the
30 students who took
the course were given
a certification exami-
nation by a represen-
tative of the State De-
partment of Health.

Scott Davis, 17, is a
junior co-op Distri-
butive Education stu-
dent at Cedar Hill High
School and is employed
at Midway Auto Supply
in Dallas.
Shirley Farrow, co-
ordinator of the DE
program, says that
Scott is an ambitious
and competitive young
man who enjoys a
challenge when it pre-
sents a unique situa-
tion. He enjoys a nov-
el experience.
She also says that
Arthur Hillman, mana-
ger of the Jefferson
Street store, is an i-
deal instructor for
Scott as he is contin-
ually giving the stu-
dent new problems to
solve and a firm but
progressive guidance
toward his personal and
career development.
Scott is a steady,
willing worker who is
very good in math and
deductive thinking
which is a real asset
in the auto supply bus-
iness with so many cat-
alogues and price lists
to handle, according to
Hillman.
He also says that
Scott takes directions
well on the job and
learns quickly.
Scott enjoys sales
work and problem
solving in his job.
He plans to continue
in DE in his senior
year and hopefully to
attend the University of
Hawaii after gradua-
tion.
Scott has been
chosen to compete this
year in area DE com-
petition in the public
speaking division.
He and his parents,
Mrs. and Mrs. Keith
Davis, South Loop, Ce-

from Kansas City,
Missouri.
