The greatesu artesian well in the
world has been straci in South Da-
kota. It is 960 feet deep. The wa-
ter pressure is 225 pounds per
square inch, and its flow is from
8,000 to 10,000 gallons per minute.
That's the kind of well the Erenham
Works company hope to have here
in a short time and! all the arrange-
ments have been perfected to get it.
The derrick has been erected and
the machinery all put in place to
commence work, but one wheel was
missing and had to be ordered from
now over due and is ex-
pected on every train when the drill
will ste-t downward hunting just
such a flow as the South Dakota
Capital and Surplus, *172,500.00.

ers and teachers from the city. The
Institute was reorganized by electing
Rev. E. W. Tarrant president, and

and Miss Emily Martin as second
