PROVERBS.
SPANISH—By the road of By and By one arrives at the
town of Never.
ITALIAN*-Time and patience changes the Mulberry leal into
Satiu.
Contrast and accord in beautiful harmony.
Doiay, both divergent and focal—profitless and provident.
A great many people are saying, '-This fall I will try Harri-
son's Famous," those people put so much in the paper about it,
and nobodt seems to contradict what they say.

I almost believe in the integrity of purpose which permeatj
thoir advertisement—this fall I think I'll try them sure, I't
been thinking about doing so the, last six months.

Were wo to tell you that in tho bunk of Giddmgv® & Giddinj
there were 810,000 at your credit and you have but to identify
yourself to obtain it, how quickly would you look about to pro!

Well, when we tell you how tu make $10,000, not that a great
deal better than to tell you how to inherit it'( Would you not]
value the acquisition more ? Would you not be better off for
tho offort.
The man who has made his money
by diligent toil is a better citizen than
he who has become possessed of it by
bequest or intrigue.
Easy come. Easy go.
As we can't tell you about the bank

^ y°u wealthy if you will follow our precept, and use your time and judgment here-at home-to win what you*
cannot obtain by going to the bank. We do not give our goods away. You would be too manly to accept a gratuity in life, though
you might smile and accept a legacy after death. The best way to aid a fellow-man is to show him how to help himself, then he
thinks he has done it all, and feels that he is somebody. Come and see us, and if you only purchase a suit of clothes' or a pair^of
shoes, thats enough for a trial. If they please, buy more. If not, stop ; you've had enough. On solid principles and with an enei
