Saturday night some one en-
tered the kitchen of Claim Agent
Evans and helped themselves to
a number of eatables.
The camp meeting near Chap-
pell Hill has come to a close.
The attendance was unusaliy
large and the meeting a decided
success in every way. A large
number of Brenham people at-
tended the meet and they all re-
port a most enjoyable time.
Removal Notice.
Dr. Emily 8hedd, on account
of increase in practice, was com-
pelled to secure larger and better
office facilities, necessitating the
removal of her office rooms to
the Connell building, upstairs
over the Roeeler Shoe Store,
where she is better prepared than
ever to consult with and treat
patiente. See change in card.
In another part of the paper
will be found a notice of thediso-
lution of the firm of the City
Retail Co. Messrs. Backer and
Wehrmann will have charge of
the grocery business. The con-
feotkmary department wilj be
under the direction of Mr. Max
Eversberg.

of L. J. Lockett's livery stable.
