ber, who served the Washington
church for four years, but recently
resigned because he cannot preach
In English and the congregation at
Washington desired to have a pastor
who Is proficient in the English lan-
guage. Bev. and Mrs. Weber left
last Friday for Kansas City, from
where they will go to Beecher, Illln-
ois> where Bev. Weber will assume
the pastorate of the Evangelical
church.

■Throughout the week the utmost
interest has been taken in this series
of prayer services, and the attend-
ance has been very gratifying. Self
denial was the keynote. \ great
desire to aid those in need of help
has been aroused, and better work
along missionary lines will be the
outcome of the week of prayer.
