40th Year With Free Concert
Jazz Education Inc. will celebrate its 40th Anniversary with
a free concert, presenting an evening of hot Jazz with the
Bubbha Thomas Holiday Jazz Concert, Friday,
December 17th- 7:00pm, at the Museum of Fine Arts
Houston.
The free concert is ar hank You, from Jazz Education to
the City of Houston for supporting the organization over the
past 40 years. According to a spokesperson, "The Houston
community has supported Jazz Education since 1970 with
more than 25 million dollars in contributions, grants,
donations, and in-kind services and this is our way of saying
THANK YOU!"
Drummer Thomas, a five time Grammy Nominee,
composer, recording artist, and author will be featured along
with a star studded array of outstanding artists including
song bird Ayanna, guitarist Joe Carmouche and the hottest
band in town, the Texas Brass Band.
There are a limited number of tickets available, and you
