What does the Tomorrow
community center
mean to you?
The community center is a place
where I can play games with my
friends. It is also a place where I
can play baseball and have fun.
Jestin Brown, 7
The community center is a place
where people from the
neighborhood can come and
play. I can come and make new
friends and play games. The
games we play are baseball, flag
football, basketball and also
board games.
Jasmine Kearney, 10
The community center means a
lot to me because if I did not
have a community center I
wouldn't have any place to play
basketball. In my community
center we get to learn new
diking
things and do a lot of different
activities. I can swim, meet new
friends, play basketball, football
and baseball. In the summer we
go places like bowling,
Astroworld, the zoo, fishing and
the Mercer Arboretum. This is
why my community center
means so much to me.
Lance Sowell, 12
My community center means a
lot to me. We learn about a lot
of different things and we also
get to draw. We have fun with
our friends, it is very exciting.
We get to do a lot of activities.
Jabari Mackey, 9
I like my community center
because I can come and help
with the little kids and set a
positive example. My community
center teaches us different
sports and also how to do things
right in life. I also have an
opportunity to give back to my
community by helping to keep
the park clean.
Jumond Henderson, 14
The community center is a place
to come and play, read and play
games. The community center is
a fun place to go.
