elected at the first meeting
of the Future Teachers of
America club. Letty Waneck,
president; James Gregory,
vice-president; Peggy Schnabel
and Rose Marie O'Brien, sec-
retaries; treasurer, George
McLaughlin and Peggy Schnabel,
reporter.
Mary E. Grey and Vernon
Khlassen were appointed to
the social committee, Mrs.
Elolse Stondenmen head of the
membership committee.
Dues are being collected

Dixon also listed students
who are handling annual sale s
this fall in a campaign to
sell 1,000 yearbooks. More
salesmen are needed. Any stu-
dent who sells 20 yearbooks
gets his annual free.

Mary Jo Lampson and Gay Yeager.
Dixon pointed out that the
price of the annual has not
changed despite rising pro-
duction costs. The yearbooks
will go for $5 each until the
December 1 deadline for ad-
vance sales.
'This year's Cardinal Is go-
ing to be one of the biggest
and best annuals ever puo-
lished by students of Lamar
Tech,' Dixon Said. 'There will
be a few changes in format and
a wider coverage of student
activities.‘
