HON. DAN. A. GROSVKXOfl, OF THE FAMOUS OHIO FAMILY.
' Hon. Dan. A. Groavcnor, Deputy Auditor for the War Department, in a letter
written from Washington, D. C., says:
"Allow me to express my gratitude to you for the benefit derived
from one bottle of Peruna. One week has brought wonderful changes
and I am now as well as ever. Resides being one of the very best
spring tonics it is an excellent catarrh remedy."--
UAN. A. GROSVENOR.
i In a recent Intter ho says*
••I consider Peruna really more meritorious than I did when I wrote
you last. I receive numerous letters from acquaintances all over the
country asking mc if my certificate is genuine. I invariably answer,
yes."—Dan. A. Orosvenor.
A County Commissioner's Letter. | p;ood word for the tonic that brought me
immediate relief. Peruna cured mo of a
bad ease of catarrh and I know it will
euro any other sufferer from that dis-
eases'—John Williams.
Miss Mattio L. Guild, President Illi-
nois Young People's Christian Temper-
ance Union, in a recent letter from Chi-
cago, 111., says:
Hon. John Williams, <\>u»ly Commis
etoner, of 517 West Serond ,-l rcrt, Duluth,
Minn., says tho following In regard to
Peruna:
"As a remedy for catarrh I can cheer-
fully recommend Perun.'i. 1 know what
ItU to suffer from that terribledisease
»ud 1 feel that it is my duty to speak a
" / doubt If Peruna has a rival In all
the remediei recommended to-day tor
catarrh of tlu system. A remedy that
will cure catarrh of the stomach will
cure the same condition of the mucouu
membrane anywhere. I have found It
the best remedy / have ever tried for
catar'h, and believing It worthy my
endorsement I gladly accord It. ••Mattie
L. Guild.
A Congressman's Letter.
Hon. W. P. Hrownlow, Congressman
from Tennessee, writes from Wash-
ington, D.C., the following:
" I have suffered from catarrh of tha
stomach for several years, and for tho
past twelve months was in an exceed-
ingly critical condition. My attention
was called to your Peruna, and I began
to use it, and my improvement was
noticeable after tho first tnree days. I
have taken three bottles of tho medieino
and I feel satisfied that I am now almost,
if not permanently, cured. In conneo-
tion with tho Peruna, I have used your
Manalin for biliousness and torpid liver.
I regard it as tho best medieino for this
purpose that T have ever used. Having
been benefited so much myself, I give
you this stat' 'i! it, that others may be
likewise bentiitod."—W. P. lirownlow,
M. C., Jonesboro, Tenn.
Mrs. Elmer Fleming, orator of Keser-
voir Council No. 108, Northwestern Lo-
gion of Honor, of Minneapolis, Minn.,
writes from 2D35 Polk street, N. E.:
"I have been
troubled all my
life with catarrh J
in my head. 1 i
took Peruna for ■
about three
months, and
now think I am
permanently
cured. I believe
that for catarrh
in all Its forms
Peruna is the
medieino of tho
age. It cures
when all other remedies fail. I can
heartily recommend Peruna as a catarrh
remedy."—Mrs. Elmer Fleming,
Treat Caturrli In Spring.
Tho spring is the time to treat catarrh.
Cold, wet winter weather often retards
a euro of catarrh. If a course of Peruna
is taken during tho early spring months
the cure will be prompt and permanent.
There can bo no failures if Peruna is
taken intelligently during the favorable
weather of spring.
As a systemic catarrh remedy Peruna
eradicates catarrh from tho system
wherever it may bo located. It cures ca-
tarrh of tho stomach or bowels with tho
same certainty as catarrh of the head.
If you do not derive prompt and satis-
factory results from tho use of Peruna,
write at onco to Dr. Hartman, giving u
full statement of your caso and ho will
be pleased to give you his valuable ad-
vice gratis.
Address Dr. Hartman, President of
Tho Hartawui Sanitarium, Columbus,
Ohio.

A School of Art.
The News takes pleasure in welcom
iug to the "hub' of north Texas a new
institution of culture. Added to the
educational facilities so generously be-
stowed upon us by the state the de-
servedly popular John B Dm ton Col-
lege, our excellent public schools and
other institutions of learning, we have
recently acquired a veritable academy
of fine arts in the Denton School of
Art, now open to the public.
The Muses in their descent from the

Unlike music, whose devotees had
ever ample opportunity in Denton t>

notes'1, pictorial art had no abode of
its own to repose its head until Prof. I>.
Eyth rounded out the cycle of educa-

The News predicts for the institute a
flourishing future.
