When children laugh all are
pleased. Well and wisely acting
up this axiom, the management of
the grand united Forepaugh and
Sells Brothers' shows, which are
to give afternoon and evening per-
formances at Gainesville on Mon
day, November 15, have made
such generous and commendable
provision for special amusement
of the little folks that they ma\
be fairly credited with having
added a Children's Day to recrea
tion's calendar. The gra..d arena
of the great hippodrome, the four
rings and the two stages, are con
verted into a huge arenic play-
ground, filled with fascinating
spectacles Mother Goose pa
geants, and fairyland realizations
Here also are introduced the
hugest fun-makers, in the shape
of merry-andrew elephants. Capt
Woodward's only school of edn
eated Alaska sea lions and seals
fairly set the youngsters wild
ith delighted wonder. Then
there are ludicrously talent-
ed pic*, trained pigeons, pretty
and sagacious ponies, ciown bears,
balancing goats, unridable don
keys, monkey jockeys, wonderful
dog artists and whole tronpes and
families of the most delightful
quaint, queer and comical two and
four legged originals. It is all
healthful and harmless recieation,
too, calcalated to make happier,
