By special arrangement we are now in a position to offer our
customers a reduction of about 20 per cent, on all cash purchases
made at our store.
How Is ^It Done? By the Coupon System
We give each customer making a rash purchase at ocr store a
coupon to the value of 10 per cent, of the amount of their ca*b pur-
chase, whether it is 10 cents or $ KM). These coupons are redeem
able at onr store in 8ilverware, which we mark down in price twenty
to thirty per cent, leas than its ordinary retail value. By this means
our customers secure an average discount on their general purchases
of from 20 to SO per eent and at the same time secure an elegant and
usefol household necessity. We guarantee this silverware to be full
platsd and equal to anything in the market. Call at our store and see
these beaatifuI goods. Yours truly, VAL PEERS.

When it is over many of those
who have rushed away will regret
it. They have found no better
country than this and very few of
them have bettered their condi-

fortunate men of the age.
Cooke oounty will be stirred

there will be fuu sll along the

propose to be an idle spectator,

It expects to treat its friends
cleverly, even when forced to dif-

The Hesperian Building and

the ladies of St. Paul's Episcopal
churoh for this welcome gift.
The supper given by the ladles
of the Episcopal chureh last night
was a grand success, financially,
socially and every way. It was
one of the most elegant snd pleas-
ant sfflslrs, snd one of the best
managed we have seen. A hand

We do not believe it will be
necessary to sell the city bonds
below par. The last ones were
sold too low, or the expenses of
selling them Were too high. There
is no need of paying heavy com
