those attending the dance Satur-
day night at the American Legion
Hall Hoy Johnson, a fine taller
from Amarillo was the caller for
the evening.
October 11 and October 25, dances
will be held at the American Legion
Hall at s ::u pm Jack Thompson
and Billy Foster will Ik1 the call-
eis for October. Plan now to at-
tend these dances. Visitors are al-
ways welcome.

season football tickets for home
games may still lx1 purchased in
the office of the high school prin-
cipal.
A (hange this year is that there
will be no on - the - field parking
on the north end of Younger Field
The physical education playground
has recently' been plowed and rc-
sodded and the ground will be too
soft for parking.
Tulia fans will he able to park
on the visitors' side, east side of
the field Provided the ground
dries sufficiently, there will be
parking on 4th Street, east of the
high school campus.
\s in the past, parking on 3rd
Street, from Dallas to the main
entrance of Younger Field, will
be restricted to the south side of
dig street. The entremc* east end of
that side of the street, closest to the
ticket booths, is reserved for m.-.l
ical doctors who might be requir-
ed to answer a call.

The Golden Circle Sunday School
class of the First Baptist church
was hostess to the Faithful t’o-
Workcrs class for the installation
of officers, Tuesday night in the
home of Mrs. (’lilt Whitmore. Mrs.
(Jit) Landis gave the* devotional on
Five Fingers of Prayer”. Mrs.
Larue Hughes did the installation
service. It was an original ser-
vice, she chose ‘ Washing Our
Lives with Prayer" for her theme.
As each officer was installed she
washed on a miniature rub board
a immature item of clothing and
presented them to the officer to
be hung on the line It was a very
impressive cermony. Mrs. Henry
Hcinhardt dismissed with a pray-
er Refreshments were served to

to visit a few weeks with her

fore returning home.
Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Scott spent
last week, vacationing in the Colo-
rado mountains.
David Boston who lives in Ridge-
field. Conn spent Tuesday night
with his mother, Mrs Doris Bos-
ton and brother Felix.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs.
Ronnie Dennis on the arrival of a
daughter, Dcandra, born Wednes-
day, September 24 in the Plain -
view hospital. Grandparents are
