Robert Fisher, Jr., was attacked
by a boar Friday afternoon and was
bitten by the animal, the muscle in
the calf of his right leg being bitten
in two, and a portion of it had to be
severed by the attending physician.
Dr. J. M. Ogle. It is said that this
same animal has been mean for some
time and is in the habit of fighting
everyone who walks close to him.
In every business someone does the buying. This person must exer-
cise a keen sense of values—must know quality at sight, taste or touch,—
must know where, when what and how much to buy,—must know how to
make the pennies count.
THE HOUSEWIFE IS THE HEAD BUYER IN THE HOME!
One of the most important duties that rest upon her shoulders is the
buying of healthful, nourishing foods for the entire family. This she does
wisely and savingly by purchasing all her groceries at—
Effective at once Gas bills for the town of Frisco will be

final date to receive your discount and should be paid on
or before that date.
‘ Last week there were two or three
fatal accidents caused by trucks be-
ing parked on highways. In Frisco
we are inviting trouble when we per-
mit the parking of trucks on corners
of lbe principle streets; it is a dan-
gerous practice that isn’t necessary
and one that should be stopped be-
fore death visits Someone's home
through such carelessness.
The Frisco Journal office was com-
plstely destroyed by Are in the fall
0x1922. Our entire investment was
lost forever. Another investment
running well into the thousands was
naeessary if the town was to be given
t|a newspaper that it should have.
That was but a very few years ago,
and we And that today, if this editor
does not give, give, give to every-
body and everything that comes
along he is a sorry sport! You who
are engaged in such businesses that
call for contributions, please bear
in mind that of all the business in-
stitutions suffering the most from
the Are that cleaned up the half of
ths Frisco business section, The Jour-
nal was one of the heaviest losers,
and this institution is still suffering
from that same Are! When “cussing”

little two-bit thing that comes up,

Groceries are foods—that nourish and sustain the body. They mast
supply the cells and tissues with energy and strength,
Groceries must above all be pure and rich in quality. So many stores
make a practice of underselling and handling so called "just as good"
brands. For standard well known quality products they will substitute
inferior products. We handle only the very best. Our groceries and every
thing we sell is highest quality—and priced as low as that quality will pre-
mit us to sell.
