Choir Goes
to New Orleans
Being on the loading crew was not one
of the easier assignments on the trip.
Luggage and equipment was un-
packed and repacked at least two
times a day and sometimes three or
four times. Cliff Lawless was part of
the assembly line at Lake Charles
Saturday night.
The merry-go-round was a popular
attraction for some of the chorale
students as they relaxed at a park in
Orange before performing that night.
Three instructors and 37 students
spent part of their spring break on the
college supervan traveling to New
Orleans and presenting concerts for
churches and colleges. The group is
directed by Larry Brumley.
The choir was just a swinging asdhey
stopped at a park in Orange to spend
some extra time they had before their
Sunday night concert at the Old First
Orange Baptist Church.
