wing-blade or, in fact, with almost any
ground-engaging point of ordinary construc-
tion. In addition to this wing-blades. may
be attached to either or both sides of the plow
5 by means of the frogs or supporting devices
herein described, and said wing-blades may
be used either independently or in connection
with the turning-plows. We are thus en-
abled to produce either a right-hand or a left-
1a hand turning-plow or, if preferred, a lister.
It is also obvious that the relative sizes and
shapes of the attachments may be varied to a
great extent within the scope of our inven-
tion. It will further be noticed that no mat-
15 ter what may be the nature of the attachment
or attachments used in connection with our
device such attachments may be set at any
desired angle or inclination' whereby the
0 ground will be engaged at any requisite angle,
20 to cause the implement to enter to any desired
depth.
Having thus described our invention, we
claim-
1. In a plow, a landside, a standard, there-
25 on, a pair of spaced plates extending upwardly
from the point of the landside, with their
outer edges in the planes of the edges of the
latter, said plates combining to form a toe at
the point of the landside, and, a blade-sup-
30 porting stock pivotally mounted between the*
members of the toe and comprising a pivoted
plate and spaced side members engaging op-
posite sides of the standard.
2. In a plow, a landside, a standard sup-
35 ported thereon, and web connecting and brac-
ing said landside, a standard, and offsets on
opposite sides of the standard having segmen-
tal rear edges.
3. In a plow, a landside, a standard for the
40 same, notches in the under side of the point
of the landside, offsets on opposite sides of
the standard having segmental undercut rear
edges concentric with the notches in the point,
supporting devices comprising members
45 adapted to engage, respectively, tle notches
at the point and the undercut grooves of the
offsets, and connecting and tightening means
for said members.
4. In a plow, a landside, a standard sup-
50 ported thereon, notches in the under side of
the point of the landside, supporting devices
pivotally connected with said notches, and
means for connecting said supporting devices
adjustably with the sides of the standard.
55 5. In a plow, a landside, a standard sup-
ported thereon, supporting devices connected
pivotally with the point of the landside, means
for connecting said supporting devices adjust-
ably with the sides of the standard, and a cen-
6o tral ' supporting device connected pivotally
with the point of the landside and adjustably
with the standard.
6. In a plow, the combinationwith a land-
side and a standard supported thereon, said
65 landside being provided at the point thereofwith notches and said standard being pro-
vided on opposite sides with offsets having
segmental undercut rear edges concentric with
the notches in the landside, of supporting de-
vices comprising plates having lugs engaging 70
the notches in the landside, and outwardly-
extending flanges having bolt-holes, bolts ex-
tending through said holes and bent rear-
wardly, body members having flanges engag-
ing the said plate and provided with out- 75
wardly-extending arms and with rear flanges
engaging the undercut edges of the segmental
offsets upon the standard, said body-plates
having means for the adjustable connection of
the rear ends of the bolts, nuts for clamping 8o
the said supporting devices in operative po-
sition, and blades mounted upon the said sup-.
porting devices.
7. In a plow of the class described, a land-
side, a standard supported thereon, offsets on 85
opposite sides of said standard having seg-
mental undercut rear edges, a blade-support-
ing stock having pivotal connection with the,
point of the landside and adjustable connec-.
tion with the standard, blade-supporting de- 90
vices having pivotal connection.with the point
of the landside and adjustable connection with
the undercut segment plates or offsets upon
the sides of the standard, and earth-engaging
plow members mounted upon the said sup- 95
porting devices.
8. In a plow of the class described, a land-
side, a standard. supported thereon and a
blade - supporting stock connected pivotally -
with the point of the landside and adjustably 1
with the standard, blade-supporting members.
connected pivotally with opposite sides of the
landside and standard, wing-blades supported
on said devices, and turning-plows having
lugs at their front edges engaging under the 105
upper edges of the wing-blades and provided
with transverse supporting means engaging
the blade-supporting devices.
9. The combination with a plow, of a blade-
supporting device comprising two slidably- .1o
connected members adapted to engage one side
of the plow-frame and a connecting and tight-
ening bolt, said members being provided, re-
spectively with an outwardly-extending plate
and an outwardly-extending arm, and a wing- 115
blade connected with the outwardly-extending
arm by an ordinary connecting-bolt and with
the outwardly-extending plate by means of a
bolt which is bent rearwardly and constitutes
the connecting-bolt for the members of the 120
supporting device.
10. The combination with a plow-frameof a
blade-supporting device connected pivotally
and adjustably with the side of said plow-
frame, said sup porting device comprising two 125
connected members, one of which is provided
with a laterally-extending flange aid the other
with a. laterally-extending arm, .a bolt, bent
close to the head thereof, said bolt being ex-
tended through a perforation in the flange ex- 13oa
