Having thus described the invention what
is claimed as new, is:
10 1. A feed trough comprising a stand sup-
porting a tray, and a top movably fitted to
the stand and comprising end pieces and lon-
gitudinal plates, each of the end pieces com-
prising a cross piece and an upright, the
15 plates secured to end portions of the cross
pieces constituting platforms, and the plates
secured to the uprights forming a cover,
the edge portions of which project so as to
overlap the inner edge portions of the plat-
20 forms.
2. A feed trough comprising a stand sup-
porting a tray, a top movably fitted to the
stand and comprising end pieces and longi-
tudinal plates, each of the end pieces com-
prising a cross piece and an upright, the 25
plates secured to end portions of the cross
pieces constituting platforms, and the plates
secured to the uprights forming a cover, the
edge portions of which project so as to over-
lap the inner edge portions of the platforms, 30
said platforms having upwardly extending
stops along their inner edges, and a. cover
having pending portions along their outer
edges.
