general construction and arrangement of the
parts which unite to form my improved um-
brella-case without materially affecting the
results, and I desire to have it understood
5 that although I prefer the form shown various
modifications may be adopted without depart-
ing from the spirit and scope of my invention.
Having thus described my invention, what
I claim is-
io In an umbrella-case, the combination with
an inclosing frame comprising glass panels
certain of which are hinged; of a support
therein comprising horizontal grooved pieces
at the bottom, a horizontal clamping-framenear the top, wires secured on this frame and 15
having loops projecting laterally to the sides
thereof, standards connecting the grooved
pieces with said frame and converging toward
their upper ends, and notches or pins in the
inner edges of said standards, all substan- 2:
tially as described.
