vention embodying the dumping-blocks and1
channel-guides in the manner shown in Fig.
4, where it will be seen that the flat faces of

5 nel I of guide F, holding platform D in a
rigidly-horizontal position. On encounter-
ing eitherof the diagonally-connecting chan-

allowing platform D to tip to the desired angle.
10 I am aware that prior to my invention self-
dumping cages working on upright guides
and having tipple-platform for car and dogs
for holding car on platform have been made.
I therefore do not claim this invention,
15 broadly; but
What I do claim, and desire to secure by
Letters Patent, is-
1. In a self-dumping cage, the combination
of tipple-platform, shaft attached crosswise
20 at middle of said platform and diamond-jshaped blocks secured at each end of said
shaft substantially as described.
2. In a self-dumping cage, the combination
of tipple-platform, a shaft attached crosswise
at the middle of said platform, diamond- 25
shaped blocks secured at each end of said
shaft, upright guides with vertical channels
for said blocks, and diagonally-connecting
channels or switches communicating with
said vertical channels, lever for setting said 30
blocks to pass through the desired diagonal
channel or switch, all substantially as de-
scribed.
In testimony whereof I have signed my
name to this specification in the presence of 35
two subscribing witnesses.
