to welcome the many visitors who
return to Crosby each year for the
Czech Festival. Scheduled for
Sunday, Oct. 7, at the Crosby
Fairgrounds, the 67th Annual
Czech Festival continues the tradi-
tion of celebrating Crosby's Czech
heritage. Visitors looking for a
taste of Czech culture can enjoy
kolaches, strudels, and other
homemade pastries. Barbecue
and sausage dinners will be
served beginning at 11am. In
addition to a sampling of Czech
music and dancers, there will be
entertainment provided by various
local talents. A giant auction fea-
turing handmade quilts and more
begins at 1pm. There will also be
bingo, arts & crafts, and booths &
games for all ages throughout the
day. There is no admission fee.
Parking is free at the fairgrounds'
parking lot on Church Street, and
handicap parking is available.
