Lynn Maze was an all night
guest of Brenda Bryant in Cros-

Mr. and Mrs. T. R Jones went
to Colorado City Monday to visit
T. R.'.s sister, Ruby Jones.
Mr. and Mrs. Haroid Trull at-
tended the funeral of Mrs. P. E.
Parr in Lubbock on Monday.
Mrs Parr was an aunt ol Har-

book, "Spiritual Life Develop-
ment,” by Mildred McMurry.

honoree at a “graduate” lunch-
eon given by Mary L. Taylor of
Lubbock Saturday in a Monter

The wind is still blowing most
every day as if it were still
March. Guess it will blow until
the whole country gets a good
rain, which we hope will be soon.
Still many ill in our commun-
ity. Mrs. Grace Harvey is home
following surgery and at the last
report was doing well. Mrs. Eu-
gene Hardin underwent surgery
in the Crosbyton hospital on Fri-
day, and at the last report was
still very sick, although the doc-
tors say she is doing as well as
possible. Diane Sudduth missed
school last week with the mea-
sles. Many have spring colds.
Kitty Joyce Moore was also ill
with the measles last week.
Those helping Mrs. D. D.
Thornrill celebrate her birthday
Thursday of last week other than
Mr. Thornhill were Mr. and Mrs.
S. P. Starrett, Mr. and Mrs. M. R.
Give os, Mr. and Mrs. T E. Thorn
hill, Mrs Kelton Winegar and
Mrs. George Brakebill and son.
For her we wisn many more hap-
py birthdays. April is birthday
month in our family.
Mr. and Mrs. Hoyt McClure
were among those, attending
funeral services at Alvord for a
relative on Friday of last week.

Seems no one has any news
this week. At least they have not
bothered to call us.
Mrs. J. W. Stewart took her
granddaughters, Sherry and Cin-
dy Largent, home Thursday of
last week. The little girls had
beer visiting the grandparents
for several days. They are the
daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Dale
Largent of Pampa.
Mi. and Mrs. Robert Kendrick
went on a sight seeing tour Sun-
day at Palo Duro Canyon.

their son and his family, Mr. and
Mrs. John Snodgrass and John.

grass family were her mother
and grandmotner, Mrs. Marjorie

son of Houston. Mrs. Burdick,
Mrs. Johnson, Mrs. John Snod-
grass and John, Jr., visited here
with Dr. and Mrs. Snodgrass
Tuesday.
