“Sew With Cotton ”
Contest Is Monday
Mrs. Nathan Boardman
will do the commentary for
the styles at the "Sew It
With Cotton" Coneat to be
sponsored by the Crosby
County Cotton Club In Lo-
renzo Monday flight, March
20. The Judging will begin
in the high school auditori-
um at Lorenzo at 7 p. m. and
the public showing will be
at 7:30 p. m.
Prizes will be $10 for first
place and $5 for second
place in each category. Ap-
proximately 40 garments
have been entered.
Because the garments will
be pre judged on the models,
the show Is not expected to
be a long one. The judging
isi,to be 100 percent on ap-
pearance except In case of a
tie.
Election of officers, whose
terms will begin June 1, will
be done during a business
session.
There will be a drawing
for door prizes.
All Cotton Club members
and interested persons are
invited to attend the meet-
ing and Contest.

Camp Rio Blanco.

Senior Camping ceremony
for the annual Senior Scout
trip next year.

Flight As Morse
Miss Judy Crausbay, who
made her home here with
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Davis at
one time, became an exper-
iences flight nurse “the hard
way” according to an article
in The Oklahoma Journal.
Miss Crausbay is a pedia-
trics staff nurse at Child-
ren's Memorial Hospital In
Oklahoma City and Is also
an Air National Guard
second lieutenant in the
137th Air Medical Evacua-
tion Squadron. She began
her first day on a two week
air evacuation mission stint
in southeast Asia Jan 16.
Two medical technicians
were also on the air evacua-
tion trip to Japan, Hawaii
and the Philippine Islands.
They brought out service-
men from Viet Nam Includ-
ing 25 litter patients.
