Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Maze of
McAdoo announce the engae

of their daughter, Juanita Jean
Maze, to Jerry Wayne Pebsworth,

Roy Ivu, Jr., Brains
First Year of Med
School at Galveston
Roy Ivy, Jr. of Crosbyton
is a first year medical student at
the University of Texas Medical
Branch, Galveston, and began
classes here last month.
He is among 152 medical stu-
dents whose first-year training
will include courses in the basic
sciences, including anatomy,
physiology, biochemistry, path-
ology, and psychobiology.
Ivy, a chemistry major at
Texas Tech College, is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ivy, Sr., 305 N.
Durham, Crosbyton. While at
Texas- Tech, he was a membei
of Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Med
Honorary, Phi Kappa Phi scho-
lastic honorary, and received the
outstanding Pre-Med Award his
sophomore and junior year.

Reunion Sunday at
Hillsboro City Park
A number of local residents at
tended the first Himmel family
reunion held last weekend at the
Hillsboro City Park. Approxi-
mately 139 registered and at-
tended the luncheon and more
friends joined the group to visit
during the afternoon Sunday.
Officers were elected and
plans were made to hold a re-
union annually on the first Sat-
urday and Sunday in October.
