joyed refreshments and Fellow-

We are sorry to report Mr. E.
H. Brown is in the hospital, but
glad he is improving. He has
had pneumonia.

Crosbyton. Hunter is the son of
Mrs. Sam Hunter of Floydada.
For her wedding the bride
chose a pink wool knit suit with
pale pink accessories and match-
ing corsage of pale pink carna-
tions.
After a wedding trip to Austin
the couple will reside at 4914

Mexico at Meeting
The Gamma Eta Chapter of
Delta Kappa Gamma met on
December 19 In Paducah with
Mrs. Ray Graves and Miss
Gladys Peck, hostesses.
Mrs. Betty Wells of Ralls was
program leader. She showed
slides taken when 'she visited
Mexico. Other members on the
program were Mrs. Jewell Var-
nell, who discussed “Political
Patterns,” and Mrs. Virginia Wil-
liams, who discussed “Educa-
tional Patterns.”
Thirteen members were pre-
sent. Those attending from Cros-
byton were Mrs. Madeline Stan-
ford and Mrs. Edrie Taylor.

Has ‘Bus' Party at
Her Home Monday
Miss Kitty Joyce Moore was
hostess at a “bus" party for the
high school students who ride
the Wake school bus Monday
night in the home of her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. A. £. Moore.
Games were played and prizes
awarded and refreshments of
sandwiches, cookies and punch
were served.

Charles McDougle, Dean and
Sherry Watson, Lynn Maze, She-
ron and Donna Griffin, Alton and

Mr. and Mrs. Alton Wallace,
Mike, Pat and Steve of Stover,
Mo., spent the holidays visiting
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A.
Edwards of Canyon, and his par-
ents, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Wallace
here. The Wallaces are former
local residents. They report cn
Joying living in Missouri where
they cut their own Christmas
tree, did some ice skating on a
frozen pond on their place and
plan do some sledding on the
hills when they return. They
spent Dec. 24-25 in Canyon, then
visited here until Monday. From
here they went to Canyon and
planned to return to Stover from
there.
