The farmers are hoping for
many nice days now after the
many days of drizzle and rain.
TTie weather has been much
cooler the past few days, one
can tell fall is in the air.
For the past two weeks, on
Monday the telephone line has
roared and cut up until it is irn
possible to get the news from
our neighbors. This Tuesday we
had a death message and were
unable to learn any details as
the phone just kept cutting oui
and the line making so much
noise we could not hear. We
finally understood that uncle P.
B. Cox, Sr., of Brownwood had
passed away. Maybe sometime
today we shall be able to find
out a little more about the fune-
ral arrangements.
