The Afternoon circle of * the
Presbyterian Womens Association
met at the Church Monday after-
noon at 3:00 o'cfeck meeting was
opened by repeating the purpose in
unison. Names and locations of
Missionaries for the day were read
by Mrs. Martha Stroup. Prayer by
Mrs. Ada Wells. Eight members
answered to roll call, minutes
read and approved in the absence
of Mrs. Wise. Miss Katherine
Trout brought the Bible lesson
from the 3rd chapter of study
book, “Be what you are". Subject
“The. first bom Head” was a most
interesting lesson on the relation
of Jesus Christ to the Church and
of the Church to the World. Also
some interesting comment on the
condition of the World today, our
responsibility and obligation as
Christians and parents today.
The meeting was dismissed by
the Mizpah benediction.

The Women’s Missionary Society
met in circles Monday afternoon.
Circle I met at the church with
eight present. Mrs. Clyde Pope,
chairman, presided. Mrs. B. B.
Gregory led the opening prayer.
Mrs. Rayford Stroud gave these
chapters from’ Mission study book,
‘‘Allies In Home Missions”, The
Chaplaincy” and “Commissioned To
Win”. All were very’ interesting.
Mrs. Guy Chaney offered the
closing prayer. ¥
Circle No. II met with Mrs. G.
W. McFarland. Prayer was made
by Mrs. Nellie Whitlock. A very
interesting lesson from the Mission
Study book was given by Mrs.
McFarland.
The meeting closed with prayer
by Mrs. Oma Bagley.
