MRS. MARK DANIEL RODEN
Mrs. Ernest Kenniston of West
Cornwall, Connecticut was mat-
ron of honor. Her floor-length
gown of light blue nylon sheer
was styled with high bateau neck-
line, bracelet length sleeves adorn-
ed with self bows, fitted bodice,
and flowing hemline watteau
panel. The controlled skirt had
side and back fullness. Her match-
ing petal cap, with tiny pearl
cornet, was nestled in the center.
She wore a circular line veil.
the bride served as best man.
Ushers were, Everett Thompson,
also brother of the bride and John
Kudzavice, brother-in-law of the
bride.
For the daughters wedding, Mrs.
Thompson choee a dress of green
crepe graced with a satin collar
and gold-color accessories. Her
corsage was bronze mums.
The reception, Immediately foll-
owing the ceremony, was held in
the Bethlehem Memorial Hall by
the Ladles Guild of Christ Church
as hostesses.
The bride’s table was enhanced
by an arrangement of white glad-
ioli flanked by white candles and
the wedding cake.
The bride Ib a graduate of Wat-
ertown High School and an em-
ployee on the Assembly Line of
Thomaston Manufacturing Com-

The groom is a graduate of Hon-
ey Grove High School. Is now
serving aboard the Nuclear Sub-
marine .Seawolf, of the U. S. Navy
stationed at New London, Conn-
ecticut.

ing vows Saturday, September 19,
1964 at 11 o’clock in the morning
in the sanctuary of Christ Church
in Bethlehem, Connecticut. Charles
Brown, minister of the church, of-
ficiated in the double ring cere-
mony.
The bride is the daughter of
Mrs, Earle R. Thompson, and the
late Mr. Thompson of Magnolia
Hill Road, Watertown, Connecti-
cut.
The groom is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Jack T. Wilson of Honey
Grove, Texas.
The altar was decorated with
white gladioli and polished green
ery for the formal wedding sett-
The brides maids were, Miss El-
aine Briggs and Mrs. Earle R-
Thompson, Jr. • of Watertown,
Connecticut. Their gown of Niye
green were Identical as that of the
bride. They carried yellow sweet-

Dallas announce the arrival of a
son, Billy Chris, bom Tuesday aft-
ernoon, Sept. 15, in Baylor Hospi-
tal. Birth weight was 8 lbs., 2 ozs.
Mrs. Bums is the former Miss
Janet Mattingly, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Roy Mattingly, Hillcrest.
Paternal grandfather is Bill Bums
of Ladonia, and paternal grand-
mother is Mrs. Cleo Braley of
Telephone.
Mrs. S. W. Matthews was elect-
ed president of the Noble Woman’s
Home Demonstration Club, at its
meeting Sept. 11 with Mrs. Jim
West.
Other officers elected were/ vice
president, Mrs. Morris Martin;
secretary-treasurer, Mrsr-Jim West
reporter, Miss Virginia Hobbs;
Count/ Council delegate and par-
liamentarian, Miss Edythe Mulli-

with another sister, Mrs. Jim Spear
and Mr. Spears.

Dodge City, Kansas were here vis-
iting his daughter, Mrs. John O'-
Connor and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Hicks Graves and
Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Shelton visited
Sunday in Paris with Mr. Sheltons
grandfather, Mr. Woody Palmer
and in Cooper with his mother,
Mrs. Oleta Shelton.
Mrs. F. Beiyea spent the week-
end in the home of Mrs. Ira Mill-
ing of Paris.
Mrs. Jane Mills of Honey Grove
was here visiting her brother and
his family, the Bob Bowles and
with her sister, Mrs. Lora Halli-
burton at Forest Hill.
Mrs. Ray Oliver of Coatsville,
Penn., arrived Monday night to be
with her father, Wylie Fuller, who
Is scheduled for surgery at the
McCuistlon Memorial Hospital in
Paris.

visited in Paris Sunday with their
parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Ruther-
