A caring community helps *
It is very hard to put into words, how blessed we feel to live in such
a wonderful community. I don’t think there is another place in this world
that we could find such wonderful, caring people.
Your thoughts and prayers have done wonders for all of us. During
these trying times it is comforting to know that there are so many
prayers going up for our family.
While I was in Houston at M.D. Anderson, we were listening to a
man who was very angry. H e was so mad at God for what was happening
to him.
When he was called into the office, I mentioned thus to the woman he
was talking to. I told her how everyone was praying for Chris and of all %
the other wonderful things people in Canadian had done for us. I told
her how much it had helped us in dealing with the situation.
She said, “If only someone could show this man how prayers and
people caring can help, maybe he wouldn’t be so angry' at God and he
could get some peace.”
I am telling you thus so that you will know how much a caring
community helps.
God bless you all! You will always have a special place in our hearts.
