Two-Story Rock Building
Claud Gilbert died Wednesday
evening after several weeks of
severe illness and his remains
laid to rest in the Carbon ceme-
tery Thursday evening, Eld. W
B Cobb conducting the burial
service. The Herald extends
heartfelt sympathy to the be-
x’eaved family and friends.
Ferguson & Lanier are now
having rock placed on the ground
to erect a two story 50x115 ft.
rock building on the corner south
of the Puett building. These
young men are very progressive
and they are taking the right
step when they put up a sub-
stantial building in Carbon. Our
town is growing and it will only
be a matter of time when all the
business houses will be rock or
brick.
