Ann Kilpatrick Bride Of
James Eari Nicholson
Bellaire Presbyterian Church
was the setting for the August
26 wedding of Miss Ann Kilpat-
rick and James Earl Nicholson.
The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. Joseph W. Hahn, 5200 Va-
lerie, and Campbell Kilpatrick,
3710 Seminole. The groom’s par-
ents are Mr. and Mrs. J. B.
Nicholson of San Angelo.
Dr. William A. Baine read the
marriage vows against a back-
drop of tall white cathedral ta-
pers spiraling out of draping
arrangements of white gladioli,
chrysanthemums, stock and
white caladium leaves.
For her wedding the bride
chose a gown of camellia white
silk organza. It has a portrait
decolletage enhanced by Belgium
lace that extended over the top
of the elbow length sleeves and
came into the back where small
buttons extended. The bell shap-
ed skirt swept into a manipu-
lated back fullness and from this
detail a lavish train fell into
court length. In Madonna fashion
she wore a veil of Belgium lace
in p rincess design. Her bouquet
was a Victorian rose.
The Attendants
Maid of honor was Miss Nan-
cy Kilpatrick, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Miss Linda
Lahr, and Miss Mary Hahn, also
a sister of the bride. The attend-
ants wore seafoam silk organza
with fitted bodices styled with
circlet necklines, brief sleeves
and marked by shadow yokes of
silk. The softly pleated deep
hemmed skirts were worn at in-
foot prelection
